Middle School begins in the 6th grade, when the students are children at 10 and 11 years old and ends in the 9th grade, when they are already teenagers at 14 and 15 and are prepared to handle the new challenges of High School. It is, therefore, a transitional segment that covers a phase of major changes in the lives of students. They are faced with issues of higher complexity, which require a critical, ethical and reﬂective position.
The aim of middle School is to facilitate, promote and develop this maturation, therefore emphasizing the value of a civil education and initiating the student inthe path towards the adult world.
In Middle School, we expand the knowledge of foreign languages. We intensify the study of grammatical structures, thus enriching the vocabulary by always working with diversiﬁed texts.
Classes (3 periods a week) are always focused on the four skills.

Students are prepared and oriented to take the following international exams:
KET (Key English Test) - 7th grade
PET (Preliminary English Test) - 9th grade
DELE (Diploma de Español como Lengua Extranjera) - 9th grade
